I/O & BUS INTERFACE CARDS

TeReSol has designed various Input Output and MUX BUS Interface modules and Adaptation cards. These play a critical role in the function of various LRUs in Mission Ready Systems. These have been designed in various form factors depending upon the application. They range from Interface cards to Multifunction I/O cards and Synchronous cards

MUX BUS Interface Cards

Quad Channel MIL-STD-1553B 6U VME Interface Module

MUX Bus interface module (in 6U form factor) is responsible for handling all channels of the 1553B bus. The CPU module communicates with the MBI module via the VME interface and the MBI module acts as a bridge between the CPU and any RT of the avionics system. The MBI module is configured by the CPU to act as the 1553B BC or RT.

Dual Channel MIL-STD-1553B PMC Interface Module

These are Dual Channel MUX BUS interface cards with MIL-STD-1553 Interfaces. These have x02 Independent dual redundant channels, Multi-terminal Functionality. Each channel functions as Bus Controller (BC),a Bus Monitor Terminal(MT) and two independent RemoteTerminals (RTs).

Three Channel MIL-STD-1553B 3U VME Interface Module

MUX Bus interface module (in 3U form factor) is responsible for handling all channels of the 1553B bus. The CPU module communicates with the MBI module via the VME interface and the MBI module acts as a bridge between the CPU and any RT of the avionics system. The MBI module is configured by the CPU to act as the 1553B BC or RT.

Multi Channel I/O Cards

Multifunction I/O Module in 6U form factor-VME interface

Multifunction I/O Module supports upto 10 Analog inputs, Multiple Communication interfaces like Ethernet, CAN controller, I2C and serial ports. It also supports upto 64 Discrete inputs and 24 Discrete outputs. These are ROHS, CE, UL, 60950 complaint.

System Interface Module in 3U form factor-VME interface

The primary function of the System Interface Module is to deliver low and high-power discrete signals to the aircraft equipment. Also it converts analog signals from the different LRUs to digital and converts Synchro signals received from Gyro Magnetic Heading to digital. The module then passes these digital signals to the CPU. It generates signals for GMHDG as well as for Angle of Attack (AOA) and NAU as requested from CPU (TBR).

Synchronous/Adaptation Cards

Synchro Discrete I/O Board in 6U form factor-VME interface

These are High Performance Processors having FPU with Single and Double Precision. These have Onboard Xilinx 6 Series high-end FPGA for ASIC’s design, Self-Calibration and Built-in-Test (BIT) with Visual Indication. Support upto 16 Analog inputs with 12-bit ADC, two synchro channels and 16 Discrete outputs with high voltage and current drive
